Foodics partners with MoneyHash to enhance operational efficiency for MEA restaurants, food service businesses

MEA – Foodics, the award-winning restaurant and payment technology company, has selected MoneyHash, the leading payment orchestration and revenue operations platform in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, to enhance operational efficiency for restaurants and food service businesses across the region.

Foodics has established itself as the leading technology solution for restaurant management, empowering food and beverage (F&B) businesses to thrive in a rapidly changing market.

Over the past decade, it has become the number one choice for restaurant management technology, processing more than 2.5 billion orders since its 2014 launch.

As a fintech company licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Foodics has seen remarkable growth, solidifying its position as a key player in the F&B sector.

The partnership with MoneyHash began in 2022, starting with a rollout for Krispy Kreme in Nigeria, where integration with local payment providers streamlined operations.

Since then, MoneyHash has helped Foodics onboard various merchants across the MEA region, including notable brands such as KFC in Egypt and Emirates Catering in the UAE.

The collaboration has brought significant benefits, including a 90% reduction in expansion costs, faster time-to-market with implementation timelines cut from two years to three months, and enhanced scalability, which has strengthened the market presence of Foodics’ merchants.

Looking ahead, the partnership aims to introduce three key initiatives to further empower Foodics and its merchants.

These include optimizing payment performance to reduce failures and improve customer experiences, offering QR code payments for seamless in-store transactions, and launching a Pay-by-Link solution for phone orders, which will support smaller restaurants in processing orders efficiently.

Nader Abdelrazik, co-founder and CEO of MoneyHash, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating that it marked a milestone in transforming payment operations for the F&B sector in MEA.

He noted that combining MoneyHash’s advanced payment orchestration with Foodics’ robust management platform is creating a more efficient and reliable payment ecosystem for thousands of restaurants across the region.

Ahmad AlZaini, CEO of Foodics, highlighted the strategic alignment of the partnership with the company’s mission to provide restaurant owners with cutting-edge technology solutions.

He said integrating MoneyHash’s payment capabilities enhances Foodics’ ability to deliver seamless, reliable payment processing while simplifying the process for time-pressured consumers.

With the MEA restaurant market valued at approximately US$33.71 billion, this partnership is set to drive innovation and growth, empowering businesses to scale and succeed.
