Grand Hyatt Mumbai relaunches Celini, showcasing traditional Italian cuisine

INDIA – Grand Hyatt Mumbai in India has announced the reopening of Celini, its Italian restaurant known for serving authentic traditional cuisine.

Grand Hyatt Mumbai, a symbol of innovation and excellence for two decades, is raising the bar in upscale dining with the reopening of Celini.

As part of this relaunch, Italian culinary expert Chef Alessio Banchero has introduced a unique concept, “Meglio in compagnia” or “Better shared in company.”

This distinctive dining experience features the chef preparing select dishes tableside, offering guests an interactive display of culinary craftsmanship.

The new menu combines Celini’s signature offerings with several fresh additions. Among the returning favorites are Taglierini all’ Aragosta, Ravioli di ricotta e spinaci, Insalata di Burrata, Tartare di tonno, Agnello Tonnato, and Branzino all’ Acqua Pazza.

The latest additions include Carre di Agnello alle Erbe, which is carved tableside from a trolley; Pollo Arrosto in tegame di Argilla, served in a clay pot; Polpette di Pollo della Nonna; Risotto alla Pescatora; Tortellini in Brodo; Gnocchi alla Sorrentina; Trofie Salsiccia Funghi; Finocchietto e crema alla Zucca; and Stinco di Agnello alla Milanese.

Robert Dallimore, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel & Residences and Area Vice President, West India, highlighted that the relaunch of Celini represents more than just a new dining experience—it is also a tribute to the authenticity of Italian cuisine.

He emphasized that both the redesigned space and the menu capture the essence of Italian hospitality, where every meal becomes a celebration of connection and fine living.

Whether for an intimate dinner, a gathering of friends, or a special occasion, Celini aims to deliver a memorable culinary journey beyond the ordinary.

Mitele Sbardellini, Executive Assistant Manager of Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel & Residences, described Celini as a restaurant deeply rooted in tradition, embodying the Italian philosophy of ‘La Dolce Vita.’
