USA – Netflix has announced the launch of a new restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Netflix Bites, featuring dishes inspired by its popular shows and films.
Situated on the casino floor near the lobby entrance at 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Netflix Bites Vegas offers a themed dining experience with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
The menu includes dishes inspired by popular Netflix shows, such as The Grand Line Showboat, a sushi platter featuring nori rolls with rice, spicy tuna, cured carrots, cucumber, and pickled ginger, inspired by ONE PIECE.
Another highlight is Red Bite, Green Bite, a dish featuring fried chicken and dipping sauces, where guests spin a wheel to determine their fate, a nod to Squid Game.
The Mind Flayer, a bourbon-based cocktail with Maker’s Mark bourbon, lemon juice, blackberries, St. Germain, Giffard Crème de Mure, ginger syrup, and a cotton candy lightning cloud, draws inspiration from Stranger Things.
The restaurant operates daily, serving breakfast and lunch from 7 AM to 2 PM, with dinner available from 5 PM to 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and from 5 PM to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Netflix Consumer Products Vice President Josh Simon highlighted that Netflix Bites offers fans an opportunity to immerse themselves in their favorite shows through food and drink.
He noted that Las Vegas, known for its immersive entertainment, provides the perfect setting for this concept, while MGM’s expertise in hospitality makes them an ideal partner in delivering unique culinary storytelling experiences.
Currently welcoming walk-in guests, the restaurant will begin accepting reservations starting 20 February 2025.
MGM Food and Beverage Vice President James McBride expressed enthusiasm for bringing Netflix Bites to MGM Grand, emphasizing the goal of merging on-screen moments with real-life immersive dining.
He added that offerings such as a Bridgerton-inspired tea service and the interactive Red Bite, Green Bite challenge are designed to transport guests into Netflix’s most beloved stories.
As the official payment partner, Mastercard provides its cardholders with exclusive benefits, including priority seating and select reservations under the “Best Seat in the House” program. The Las Vegas opening follows the debut of a similar pop-up in Los Angeles in 2023.
Netflix’s expansion into experiential retail aligns with the company’s broader strategy. At a conference last fall, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos indicated plans to develop 50 to 60 permanent retail locations worldwide, combining ticketed experiences, shopping, and dining.
While dismissing the idea of a theme park, he described these venues as learning experiences aimed at deepening fan engagement.
