Gulfood 2025 kicks off at DWTC with 5,500+ exhibitors, global industry leaders

UAE – The 30th edition of Gulfood has kicked off at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), uniting over 5,500 exhibitors from 129 countries, along with leading CEOs, policymakers, investors, and visionaries from the industry.

The 30th edition of Gulfood is set to be a memorable event, with renowned chef Alain Ducasse making his first appearance in the UAE.

Ducasse, a culinary icon with 21 Michelin stars, will lead the Top Table and Dubai World Cuisine activations. Known for his innovative approach to gastronomy and commitment to sustainability, his values align with the UAE’s efforts to promote sustainable food practices.

During Day 3 of Food500, Ducasse will share his insights on the future of the culinary industry and gastronomy.

Chef Alain Ducasse expressed his excitement about the event, stating that Gulfood’s Top Table reflects Dubai’s growing ability to attract top global talents.

He mentioned his pride in participating alongside Chef Romain Meder for a masterclass at Top Table and hosting exclusive dinners at Takahisa.

Ducasse also looks forward to connecting with fellow chefs and the public, contributing to the rapidly evolving gastronomy scene in the region.

Top Table, sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), celebrates Dubai’s emergence as a global food hub.

It will feature live masterclasses from over 120 global and local chefs, who collectively hold more than 50 Michelin stars.

Attendees will have the opportunity to witness dishes from various cuisines being created using ingredients from the exhibition floor, with engaging sessions that include tastings and demonstrations.

Exclusively for Gulfood ticket holders, the event offers a series of fine dining experiences at some of Dubai’s top restaurants, including Krasota, Takahisa, Avatara, Lowe, Armani Ristorante, Orfali Bros, and Armani Amal.

The schedule includes 4- and 6-hands collaborations, with an exclusive 8-hands experience.

Gulfood 2025, scheduled from February 17 till 21, will mark its 30th edition as the largest global food and beverage sourcing event.

The event will foster international trade partnerships, showcase new food innovations, and discuss key policies that shape the global food industry.

With hundreds of thousands of new products from 5,500 exhibitors across 24 halls, Gulfood 2025 promises to be a significant milestone in global growth and innovation, further solidifying its place as a premier platform for the food and beverage sector.
