SWAZILAND – Palazzo Hospitality, the renowned operator of Palazzo Versace Dubai, is expanding into Africa by taking on the management of the Palazzo Ezulwini Hotel and Convention Center in Eswatini, following a recent agreement signed.
With approximately 80% of construction already completed, the Palazzo Ezulwini Hotel and Convention Center is on track to open in the last quarter of 2025.
This new addition will enhance Palazzo Hospitality’s position in the global luxury hospitality market. Spanning nearly 190 hectares, the property offers an expansive venue for both business and leisure.
The Convention Center, covering 42,000 square meters, features multiple theater halls with a combined seating capacity of up to 1,800 guests, several meeting rooms, large exhibition spaces, and a restaurant with seating for 340.
A skywalk will connect the Convention Center to the hotel, featuring retail outlets and dining options for added convenience.
The seven-story Palazzo Ezulwini Hotel, covering 51,000 square meters, is designed to provide a luxurious retreat for guests.
It will offer spacious accommodations, fine dining, and high-end wellness facilities, aiming to redefine the hospitality experience for both business and leisure travelers.
With its exceptional services and premium amenities, the hotel is set to become a key destination in Eswatini and a major hub for high-end tourism in Southern Africa.
The hotel and convention center are expected to revolutionize Eswatini’s tourism and hospitality landscape, positioning the Kingdom as a major destination for international business and leisure travelers.
This world-class development is part of a broader strategy to elevate Eswatini’s global profile and stimulate economic growth.
The official opening, scheduled for late 2025, will mark a new chapter of luxury and sophistication in African hospitality.
Monther Darwish, founder and chairman of Palazzo Hospitality, expressed that the project will showcase Eswatini’s untold stories to the world, positioning the country as a significant player in international tourism and fostering expected economic growth.
Honourable Jane Mkhonta-Simelane, Eswatini’s Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs, emphasized the country’s pride in its partnership with Palazzo Hospitality and the potential for the project to make Eswatini a beacon of hope, prosperity, and tourism globally.
Baraa Khawash, co-founder and vice-chairwoman of Palazzo Hospitality, conveyed her pride in leading the development of what is set to be Africa’s premier hospitality project.
She expressed confidence that the property would stand out worldwide, beyond the African continent.
