Domino’s Pizza appoints Joseph Jordan as COO, President of US operations

USA – Leading pizza fast chain Domino’s Pizza has appointed Joseph Jordan as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO) and president of US operations.

Domino’s has announced a series of key executive promotions as part of its ongoing leadership restructuring.

Joe Jordan has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO), expanding his responsibilities to oversee domestic operations, marketing, and global services, including Domino’s technology.

Jordan, who joined the company in 2011, previously served as US and global services president since May 2022.

CEO Russell Weiner stated that Jordan’s transition to COO reflects an organizational shift designed to align teams that directly drive the business globally.

This structural change aims to enhance agility and strengthen the company’s Hungry for MORE strategy, making execution more effective and efficient.

In addition, Weiking Ng has been promoted to Executive Vice President – International, effective April 1, 2025.

In this role, he will manage Domino’s franchise relationships and operations across 90 countries. Ng joined the company’s international business team in 2020 and most recently served as Vice President – International for Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Further strengthening the leadership team, Ryan Mulally has been elevated to Executive Vice President – General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective March 15, 2025.

Mulally has been with Domino’s since 2018, serving as Vice President – Assistant General Counsel.

All three executives will report directly to Weiner, who praised their contributions and leadership, emphasizing their alignment with the Hungry for MORE strategic mindset.

He expressed confidence in their ability to drive further growth and innovation for the brand.

Domino’s has also confirmed the appointment of Ian Bull as Chair, succeeding Matt Shattock, who will step down following the company’s Annual General Meeting on April 24, 2025.

Bull, who has served as Senior Independent Director since September 2019, has been part of the board since April 2019.

His experience includes leadership roles as CFO of leisure and hospitality businesses such as Greene King, Ladbrokes, and Parkdean Resorts.

Shattock is stepping down after five years as Chair, having led efforts to strengthen Domino’s leadership team and reset its franchise relationships.

As the company moves into a new phase of strategy execution, he determined that a UK-based Chair is necessary for the next stage of growth.

With these leadership changes, Domino’s aims to enhance its global operations and reinforce its market position while ensuring a seamless transition into its next phase of strategic expansion.
